Everybody's workin' for the weekend

The sound track to my life right now:

This weekend I went to Beaver Creek and Vail with some of my favorite people. We had awesome conditions... Saturday: Powder day in Beaver Creek...Sunday: Sunny day in Vail. In Beaver Creek we stayed at the Osprey, if you get a chance, stay there. The hotel was so darling and the chair lift is right out the back door (not kidding).

However, after two great days of skiing they decided to close I-70 due to a hazmat spill. Because of the lovely closure we took the detour route through Breckenridge to Kenosha Pass and into Fairplay (the city Southpark is based on). On the brighter side, the drive was really pretty, I have never seen so many stars. Here are some pictures from the weekend. Enjoy!

I love college.

As many of you know I started back to school this week. As I was sitting in class it brought me back to the four wonderful years I spent at the University of Oklahoma. I thought I would share some of my favorite memories from the good 'ol college days. BOOMER SOONER!  (How much longer until college football season, ugh!)

GAME DAYS! And of course Adrian Peterson

Seven47. O fun times.
Their signature drink is a frozen screwdriver and I am pretty
sure so-co lime is always on special.

The KKG house and all things Greek, including date parties,
U-Sing, rush, and the sun porch!

The Mont, home to the best queso and swirl marg's!

All my best friends. Enough said.

Ah, Mondays...

Mondays... it never fails, they always come and usually there is more than enough work to be done (boo). On this Monday I drove into work and made it to my desk about 20 minutes early. Now if you know me you can probably guess that my prompt arrival was entirely due to the lack of traffic. I then remembered it was MLK day. Now obviously I had to work today, but never-the-less, I took a second to think about Martin Luther King Jr. and all that he stood for. I know it's cheesy but here it goes, cheers to everyone and that big dream they have out there... go get it!
